Pollux spent its first year and a half as somebody's daily working tool before it was ever sold as a product.
We believe the people doing the work should be the first to see what is going on, not the last. Pollux grew out of that conviction.
Pollux was built at the ZUFALL logistics group, a family-owned groupage operator based in Göttingen, Germany. The first version ran in a hall where real tours were loaded every evening. It had to run again the next morning.
That still shapes the product. Requirements came from dispatchers and drivers rather than from a specification document, and whatever did not earn its place during a shift came back out. After 18 months in production and six connected branches, the internal tool has become a product we now offer to other networks.
ZUFALL remains the anchor customer and the reference. Development and support sit in Göttingen, within reach of the hall where this started.
