From operations, for operations
We are the team behind Pollux: formed inside the live operations of the ZUFALL logistics group in Göttingen, now an independent provider of logistics digitalization.
Where we come from
Our software was not designed at a drawing board. The first version ran in a hall where real tours were loaded every evening – and had to run again the next morning. Requirements came from dispatchers and drivers, not from a specification document, and whatever did not earn its place during a shift came back out.
That tool became Pollux, and the project team became a company of its own. Today we build and run software for logistics operators facing the same task: closing the distance between the system and the hall.
What we hold ourselves to
Three points that explain why our software looks the way it does.
Process first, software second
We do not digitalize a process we have not seen. Understanding comes before building.
Proven in the shift
What we deliver has to survive daily operations. The benchmark is the night shift, not the project presentation.
Short paths
Development, operations and support work under one roof. Whoever calls talks to someone who knows the process.
ZUFALL: origin and anchor customer
We were formed at the ZUFALL logistics group, a family-owned logistics provider from Göttingen. ZUFALL remains our anchor customer and reference: Pollux runs there in regular operation, and that is where we measure whether new ideas survive the daily routine.
